About the event

Port of Ostend and Port Pass invite the ISPS terminals in the port of Ostend to an information session on identification and port ban verification at the terminal gate.

What to expect

The Harbour Master opens with how Port of Ostend approaches access management and ISPS compliance in its port. This includes the port’s ambitions and what terminals will be expected to demonstrate.

Leander Naessens, CEO of Peripass, and Lynn Geerinck, Go-To-Market Lead Port Pass, then walk you through the solution behind Port Pass. It is one watertight process that verifies who someone is and checks them against the port ban register before they enter your terminal.

We showcase the complete journey of a single visitor, including activation of the Port Pass, pre-registration, identity verification and port ban verification at the gate.

There will be plenty of time for questions and discussion. We will discuss what this means for your terminal in practice, what a rollout looks like, what it requires from your organisation and how it fits with the badges, barriers and procedures you already have in place today.
